Prepositional Poem

Joseph and I wrote this prepositional poem:

Across the rubbery turf
The opposing team beside me
The first whistle coming near
With the crowd booming
Despite their rasping voices
Outside, in the intense heat
The men in black and white taking the field
Football’s on it’s way
Here comes the boom under the stadium lights!

  1. You capture the excitement of a new season here! I like the referees coming on to the field, the anticipation of the opening “boom under the stadium lights.” Great job, guys.
