Destin– ahhhh–Destin… It’s one of the only places where you don’t do the whole sit-around-all-day-and-play-on-our-phones thing. The fun in Destin is endless.

For example, every year I come here, and every year we have almost the same agenda every time: beach-pool-bike riding- ice cream. Then, occasionally we go out to a special dinner in San Destin: where there is giant hamster balls to roll on the water in– it’s so much fun! But the great part is all the water: there is the beach, but the pool is great also to wash off in, especially because it’s heated.

Another reason why Destin is so amazing is the food. Almost every day we ride our bikes down to Rosemary to check out the Sugar Shack. There, there is 40 flavored of ice cream, almost all of the types of candy you can imagine, and even sodas. I always get the mint chocolate chip ice cream with Oreos mixed in: it’s delicious times kajillion. Also, right next to our friends beach house there’s a place called Georgia’s. This time it’s not sweets galore– it’s a regular ole’ restaurant with Mac and cheese and chicken tenders. Destin’s restaurants are like kid’s dreams.

Destin is the place to go. You can’t spell destiny without Destin.
